Experimental Setup:

Please note: Upgrade to the latest Xplorer GLX firmware.

HARDWARE SETUP:



  1. Connect the Force Sensor to the Force Sensor Bracket: using the long bolt, screw through the top of the Force Sensor Bracket down into the Force Sensor through the hole labeled "IDS Bracket."
  2. If necessary, replace the hook of the Force Sensor with the Rubber Bumper.
  3. Connect the Force Sensor Bracket to the track as in the picture above.
  4. Connect the track to the rod stand just tight enough to keep the track in place, but loose enough to rotate the track.
  5. Optional: Slide the Angle Indicator into the grove of the track.
  6. Using the power button, turn on the GLX.
  7. Connect the GLX to the Force Sensor.
  8. Level the Force Sensor horizontally and press the ZERO button.

  9. Elevate the other end of the track with books or another rod stand.


SOFTWARE SETUP:
  1. If necessary, press the Home Home Button button to get to the Home screen.

  2. Use the Arrow Arrow Buttons buttons to navigate to the Meter Display. Use the Check Check Button button to select the Meter Display.
