1. Connect a USB Link or Xplorer to the USB port of the computer.
   
   
2. Plug the Motion Sensor into either the USB Link or Xplorer.
   
   
3. Place the Motion Sensor on the ground and rotate the head of the sensor such that it points at the ceiling.
   
   
   
4. Make sure the Motion Sensor is on the cart setting.
   
   
5. Hold a flat object, such as a textbook, about 20 centimeters above the ground.
