Do I need cookies turned on in my browser
to use the catalog?
PASCO's on-line store will only work properly when cookies are accepted by your browser. Cookies are generated by a Web Site and provide unique identifiers used by your browser to customize a site for a particular viewer. If you do not have cookies enabled, the PASCO shopping cart will not function properly.
How do I turn on and manage
cookies?
Activating Cookie Support
Your browser may support cookies, but it might not be configured to accept them. Please check the list below for directions on changing your browser settings to support cookies.
Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.x ( Windows )- Go to Tools > Internet Options. Go to the 'Privacy' tab. Move the slider to a setting of "High" or lower and you should be able to use the PASCO site. (Medium is recommended.)
Netscape 6.x or later ( Windows )- Go to Edit > Preferences. Click 'Privacy & Security'. Click on the box labeled 'Enable All Cookies' to select it. Click OK.
Safari 1.x ( Mac OS X ) - Go to Safari > Preferences. Click the 'Security' icon and under 'Accept Cookies' select either 'Always' or 'Only from sites you navigate to'. Use the 'Show Cookies' button to view and manage your cookies.
Managing Cookies On Your Computer
If you are sure your browser supports cookies and you have them turned on, you may need to delete your old cookies in order to browse our site. Follow the directions below to delete your store.pasco.com cookies.
Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.x ( Windows ) - Go to Tools > Internet Options. Click the 'General' tab. Under 'Temporary Internet files' click the 'Delete Cookies' button and then 'Ok'. Restart your browser.
Netscape 6.x or later ( Windows ) - Go to Tools > Cookie Manager > Manage Stored Cookies. To delete cookies for PASCO's site, select all cookies that show 'store.pasco.com', 'pasco.com' or 'www.pasco.com' in the Site column and click the 'Remove Cookie' button. Restart your browser.
Safari 1.x ( Mac OS X ) - Go to Safari > Preferences. Click the 'Security' icon and click the 'Show Cookies' button to view and manage your cookies. How do I create a new user
account?
You must create a new user account to view prices. Only customers within the United States can see prices. Customers outside the US can use the quote generator and will contacted by a local PASCO representative within 2 business days.
How do I use the shopping buttons to
remove products, cancel a quote, etc?

The main function of PASCO's Online Catalog is to provide you with a quote. All default settings within the PASCO shopping basket will result in a printable quote and an e-mail response. Simply follow the steps below:
Step 1: Place items in your shopping cart by pressing the "Add to Basket" button on an individual product detail page.
Step 2: Click the "View Cart" button to view your basket. To complete the quote process, click the "Continue" button on the shopping cart page.
Step 3: Enter or verify your account information. If this screen appears blank and you already have a user name and password, click the "log in located at the top of the page " link to log in. After logging in, verify your account information and then click the "Continue" button to proceed.
Step 4: To generate a quote leave the payment select menu with its default selection -- "Generate Quote."
Step 5: Select your desired Shipping Method.
Step 6: Enter a message if desired.
Step 7: Press the "Continue" button to proceed.
Step 8: Print out the quote screen. A copy of your Quote will also be automatically e-mailed to you.
Step 1: Follow Quote Steps 1-3 above.
Step 2: When asked to "Select a PO or Credit Card..." choose one of the five options -- VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Discover or Purchase Order. Then select your desired Shipping Method. Press the "Continue" button to proceed.
Step 3: Note the red text at the top of the screen -- " You are now placing an order using (whatever method you choose is inserted here)." Enter the requested information (credit card or purchase order number) and press the "Continue" button to proceed.
Step 4: Print out the Order Acknowledgement and keep a copy for your records. A copy of your Order Acknowledgement will also be automatically e-mailed to you.
Note for Purchase Order customers: Please fax a copy of the Order Acknowledgment along with a valid copy of your school or district's purchase order document to 916-786-7565. PASCO must verify a valid purchase order before sending you a confirmation with delivery dates via e-mail.
How do I convert a quote to an
order?
Step 1: Make sure you are logged in to the PASCO catalog system. The top of the web page should say "Welcome," followed by your first name if you're logged in correctly. Otherwise, press the "Log In" link to log in to the system.
Step 2: Click the "My Account" button on the catalog home page or click "Account" in the page header. A Manage Your Account page will appear showing account management options. Click the "View Saved Quotes" link if it is available.
Step 3: A page will appear showing all the quotes and orders that you have placed over a specific period of time. To view a different time period, modify the activity dates and press the "View" button.
Step 4: Note the status of each order in the right-hand column. You may view any order or quote, but only quotes may be modified. Click the link for the quote you wish to edit.
Step 5: When you click on a quote, a new screen will appear showing the details for the quote. An "Edit Quote" button will appear at the bottom of the screen. Press the "Edit Quote" button to re-enter the quote into the shopping cart system.
Step 6: You may now add new products, delete products, or update quantities in your shopping cart. To submit the quote as an order, follow the steps under "How do I place an order" above.
How do I change my username and
password?
To go directly to the Change Username & Password screen, follow this link. Type in the requested information and press the "Submit" button. Remember, your username and password must be at least 6 letters and/or numbers.
To access the "Change Username & Password" screen from the home page, follow the steps below:
Step 1: Click the "Account" link at the top of page.
Step 2: In the resulting screen, click the "Change Password" link.
Step 3: Fill in the requested information. Remember, your username and password must be at least 6 letters or numbers. Click the "Submit" button.
Step 4: Return to the catalog home page to continue shopping.
I lost my password. How can I
retrieve it?
Go directly to the Password retrieval screen, by following this link. Fill in the appropriate information and your username and password will be e-mailed to you.
Step 1: Click the "Account" link at the top of page.
Step 2: In the resulting screen, click the "Lost or Forgotten Password" link.
Step 3: Fill in your last name and your e-mail address, and your username and password will be e-mailed to you.
Does PASCO retain credit card numbers
online?
No, PASCO does not retain credit card numbers on-line. Credit card numbers must re-entered for each new order submitted using the PASCO on-line catalog.
When will my order arrive (US
customers)?
An email "order confirmation" will itemize the shipping date of your order.
The "shipping method", chosen when you placed your order, determines the number of days in transit between PASCO scientific in California and your district receiving department.
For Next Day or rush orders, please call 1-800-772-8700 and ask to speak to a customer service representative.
Orders placed after 12:00PM PST will be processed the following business day.
Please email your Customer Service Representative if you have any questions about your orders shipping method and delivery dates.
International customers will receive all shipping and delivery information from the local saler representative.

Download the latest DataStudio. DataStudio update are free for life. - Where can I find Xplorer GLX firmware updates?
Xplorer GLX firmware updates are delivered by DataStudio, our data collection and analysis software. When you connect your Xplorer GLX to a USB port on a computer running DataStudio, an automatic check is run to determine if the Xplorer GLX has the latest firmware. If not, you will be prompted to accept an update to be pushed from DataStudio. You can synchronize all your Xplorer GLX units this way, or you may laod the firmware to a USB Flash Drive and deliver updates to your Xplorer GLX units with via the USB Flash Drive.
