Components of the PASCO Structures System
Build the structures you want to study--then measure the loads on your structure with state-of-the-art sensor technology.
- First, choose from our selection of Structures Systems: Truss Set,Bridge Set and Bridge Expansion Set
- Now add the electronic measurement capability: You'll need the Load Cell & Amplifier, plus a PASPORT interface to connect the Amplifier to your computer.
- Finally, get real-time data display, graphing and analysis with DataStudio Software.

This product is "under construction" and expected early in 2009.
This set adds-on to your Bridge Set, greatly expanding the capabilities of your Structure System. You will get many more I-beams and necessary connections, making larger and more varied bridges possible. The set also will also include axles and pulleys for building and studying working cranes.

The Load Cell & Amplifier Set provides you the means to accurately measure tension and compression in real-time—anywhere in your structure! You build the Load Cell right into your structure where you want it—and easily relocate it without disassembling the entire structure. The Load Cell Amplifier connects to PASPORT interfaces to give you immediate readings of force. Your Load Cell Amplifier connects up to 6 Load Cells.

Your choice of computer interfaces
If you don’t already have a PASCO PASPORT interface, you’ll need one to connect the Load Cell & Amplifier Set to a computer and begin taking data. The USB link will accept one Load Cell Amplifier, the PowerLink will accept up to three Amplifiers and the Xplorer GLX will accept up to four Amplifiers
