Introduce Newton's Laws and help your students learn about the relationship between mass, acceleration, force and motion.
Includes six hands-on investigations that provide approximately 18 days of classroom activities. Your students will use a Motion Sensor to measure their own velocity, a Force Sensor to measure push and pull and investigate concepts in speed, acceleration and more.
Student Learning Objectives

- Relate an object's motion to the forces exerted on it
- Understand how multiple forces affect the magnitude and direction of the resultant force
- Understand the relationship between force and motion
Students first make a prediction, then collect sensor data directly into the Electronic Workbooks where they analyze, synthesize and respond to embedded assessments.
