Is Greenland Melting? See the evidence and investigate the impacts on climate.

Summary:
What is the impact of Global Climate Change?
This complex question is investigated first examining the evidence indicating that the ice sheet on Greenland is melting.
After students see the evidence of melting, they look at what impact the cold water melt will have on large scale ocean circulation. Students than connect the large scale ocean circulation to global climate and make connections to how the climate will change if ocean currents change.
