Emissions & Absorption Spectroscopy

Spectroscopy even without a computer. Above, light from a Hydrogen tubing is sampled using the fiber optics cable connected to the Ocean Optics Red TIde Spectrometer. The Xplorer GLX displays wavelengths in less than 1 second as intensity, absorbance, transmittance, or relative irradiance. See the unique pattern of emissions from spectral tubes and other light sources, and measure light absorption and reflectance on a variety of surface coatings.
