Teacher Hints:

  1. Formulate a classroom management plan for this activity that will minimize potential disruptions. For example, consider same-gender lab partners and allow students to put on the transmitter belt and adjust it in a bathroom or other private location. Inquire ahead of time (perhaps with the school nurse) as to whether any students should be excluded from participation due to medical or health issues. Consider asking students to participate as test subjects on a voluntary basis only. Communicate your behavior expectations clearly to students ahead of time.
