GLOBE (Global Learning and Observations to Benefit the Environment) is an international, hands-on science and education program that involves a network of primary and secondary school teachers and students in the collection of environmental measurements. GLOBE gives students the opportunity to learn by taking scientifically valid measurements, reporting their data through the Internet, creating maps and graphs to analyze data sets and collaborating with scientists and other GLOBE students around the world. PASCO probeware meets the exacting accuracy and repeatability requirements of the GLOBE program.

Students from more than 19,000 schools and 109 countries around the world participate in the GLOBE program. GLOBE is led in the United States by a federal interagency program supported by NASA, the National Science Foundation, the Environmental Protection Agency and the U.S. State Department in partnership with colleges and universities, state and local school systems and non-government organizations. The GLOBE program is aligned with national standards and benchmarks and there are more than 36,000 GLOBE-trained teachers.

Working with GLOBE, PASCO hopes to foster increased knowledge and understanding of the environment while encouraging students to explore the world around them. Whether you're measuring humidity in Costa Rica, temperature in Antarctica or the pH of a local stream in the U.S., PASCO offers the products for GLOBE members.
