PASCO 2009 EdNET Finalist

PASCO is proud to have been named a 2009 EdNet Pioneer Award Finalist, which recognizes organizations for their contribution to the growth of the education market.

 In their announcement EdNET noted that "PASCO is constantly looking at ways to take science principles and bring them to life through a combination of hardware and software tools. The company is an industry leader in bringing computer-based measurement to science classrooms to give students a genuine scientific experience."

Finalists for the EdNET 2009 Industry Awards were selected by a judging panel of leading education industry experts.  Nominees were judged on whether they have::

• Significantly contributed to innovative product and/or program design and implementation for the education market.
• Created a new niche, offering, or category within the industry by developing a new product or service and is attracting buyers/adopters in a way that represents a new opportunity for others in the industry.
• Changed the market size of a segment of the educational technology industry. (Measured by annual sales volume, number of installations, assistance in creating legislation affecting educational resource adoption, curriculum implementation, professional development, etc.)
• Funded projects or initiatives that have increased the activity or attention to the educational enterprise as being, in part, a philanthropic endeavor.
